The initial consult normally begins by phone, but feel free to get the conversation started by email. It's greatly important to make sure there is a positive connection between Organizer and Client. Once a good "fit" has been established a personal action plan will be created. Goals, timelines, budget, etc. will be discussed.
The hands-on "work" day looks different for each client and the desired end result. In most cases the day begins with the decluttering process making decisions on what items to keep, donate or discard. The client always has the final say but is guided by the Organizer, keeping the "organizing" goals in mind. "Clear the clutter, clear the mind." With less items to manage, the client finds peace of mind, clarity and can even save money. How can I save money? Less items to move by moving company, reduced future purchases (I know what I have now and can find it!) and tax write off for donations.
