It's greatly important to make sure there is a positive connection between Organizer and Client. Once a good "fit" has been established a personal action plan will be created. Goals, timelines, budget, etc. will be discussed.
On the actual "work" day, the client decides what level of involvement he/she expects. The decluttering process begins with decisions on what items to keep or donate/discard. The client always has the final say but is guided by the Organizer, keeping the "organizing" goals in mind. "Clear the clutter, clear the mind." With less items to manage, the client finds peace of mind, clarity and can even save money.
